Robin Pond Byrnes
The founder, Robin Pond-Byrnes,
is a humanitarian who acquired her passion for missions since she was a young child. Her family was extremely supportive of her involvement in activities such as hosting missionaries, making bandages, cutting stamps, fundraising, and learning about the needs of developing countries.
By the age of 18, Robin joined her grandmother in Jamaica, teaching at a local village school. In addition to her involvement in various activities, Robin was inspired by her aunt, Liotta, a missionary in Trinidad and Tobago. Throughout the rest of her life, she admired the humanitarian spirit in people, and how they would sacrifice their own comfort to help others less fortunate. These characteristics became intertwined with her own, and have been foundational in her commitment in serving others.
